Project Report & DPR Preparation Terms
CapitalBox provides Project Report, DPR (Detailed Project Report) and CMA Data preparation services to help customers put together bank-ready documentation for their loan applications.
1Nature of Service
CapitalBox provides a documentation and consultancy service that prepares Detailed Project Reports (DPR), CMA Data, business plans and related financial documentation on behalf of the customer, for use in loan or funding applications.
CapitalBox is not a bank, NBFC, chartered accountant firm, or lending institution, and does not sanction, underwrite, guarantee, or disburse any loan. The Project Report prepared by CapitalBox is a supporting document intended to strengthen a loan application; it does not itself constitute, guarantee, or influence a lender's final credit decision.
2Package Fee & Payment
The Project Report package fee is charged as a one-time, slab-based amount determined by the loan amount you intend to apply for, as set out below. The applicable fee is payable in advance, before report preparation begins.
| Loan Amount | Package Fee |
|---|---|
| ₹1 Lakh to ₹25 Lakh | ₹12,980 |
| ₹25 Lakh to ₹50 Lakh | ₹17,980 |
| ₹50 Lakh to ₹1 Crore | ₹22,980 |
| ₹1 Crore to ₹2 Crore | ₹29,980 |
| ₹2 Crore to ₹3 Crore | ₹36,980 |
| ₹3 Crore to ₹5 Crore | ₹44,980 |
| ₹5 Crore to ₹10 Crore | ₹59,980 |
| ₹10 Crore+ | Custom Quote |
3Revisions Policy
Each package includes one round of minor revisions after the first draft is delivered, to correct figures, formatting or data points based on customer feedback.
- Minor changes — figures, wording, formatting corrections — are covered under the one free revision
- Structural changes, a change in loan amount bracket, or a change in business activity after the report is drafted may be treated as a fresh scope and charged separately
- Revision requests should be raised within a reasonable time of delivery of the draft report
4Refund & Cancellation
The package fee is non-refundable once data collection or report preparation has commenced, as it represents the cost of professional and analytical work already undertaken by CapitalBox, irrespective of whether the customer later proceeds with the loan application.
If a customer wishes to cancel before any preparation work has begun, they may request cancellation in writing; any refund in such cases, if applicable, shall be at the sole discretion of CapitalBox and may be subject to a deduction towards administrative work already performed.
5Important Information
CapitalBox prepares documentation to support a loan application; it does not decide, influence, or guarantee loan approval, sanctioned amount, interest rate, or disbursement.
Customers are advised to share the report with their chosen lender and independently confirm whether any additional or scheme-specific documents are required.
6Customer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for providing accurate, complete and truthful business, financial and promoter information for the purpose of preparing the report. CapitalBox relies entirely on the data and figures shared by the customer and is not responsible for any inaccuracy, rejection, or adverse outcome arising from incomplete, incorrect, or misleading information furnished by the customer.
The customer is also responsible for reviewing the draft report carefully before final delivery and raising any corrections within the revision window described above.
7Data & Privacy
Personal, business and financial information shared by the customer is used by CapitalBox solely for the purpose of preparing the Project Report and related documentation, and is not sold or shared for unrelated purposes. CapitalBox takes reasonable measures to protect customer data in accordance with applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
8Limitation of Liability
CapitalBox shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or claim arising from the rejection of a loan application, changes in a lender's requirements, or any act or omission of the bank, NBFC or financial institution to which the report is submitted. CapitalBox's liability, where applicable, shall in no event exceed the amount of fees actually paid by the customer for the specific report in question.
9Service Commitment
CapitalBox follows the below service standards while preparing Project Reports and related documentation for customers:
- All fees and the basis of calculation are disclosed upfront, in writing, before the customer makes any payment
- Reports are prepared using the figures and information provided by the customer, without inflating or misrepresenting financials to mislead a lender
- Customer information is used only for report preparation and is not sold or shared for unrelated marketing purposes
- Genuine complaints are acknowledged and addressed within a reasonable and communicated timeframe
- Communication with customers is conducted in clear, simple language, avoiding misleading claims about loan approval chances
10Grievance Redressal
In case of any concern, complaint, or dispute relating to a report prepared by CapitalBox, customers may raise the matter through the official contact channels provided by CapitalBox. CapitalBox will endeavour to acknowledge and address genuine grievances within a reasonable timeframe.
11Legal Compliance & Governing Law
Services are provided under, and this document is governed by, applicable Indian laws. The relevance of each law to CapitalBox's Project Report preparation services is explained below:
Indian Contract Act, 1872
Governs the contractual relationship between CapitalBox and the customer. It applies because the moment a customer pays the package fee and agrees to these terms, a valid contract is formed — this Act defines how that agreement is made, what makes it enforceable, and what happens if either party fails to honour its obligations.
Download Act PDF (India Code)Consumer Protection Act, 2019
Applies because the customer is availing a paid service (report preparation) from CapitalBox, making them a "consumer" under law. This Act protects customers against unfair trade practices, misleading claims about the service, and deficiency in service, and gives them the right to approach a Consumer Forum if the report is not delivered as promised.
Download Act PDF (India Code)Information Technology Act, 2000
Applies because the entire process — data submission, document upload, digital communication, delivery of the report and online fee payment — happens electronically. This Act gives legal recognition to electronic records and online transactions, and governs matters like data security, unauthorized access, and electronic contract validity.
Download Act PDF (India Code)Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
Applies because CapitalBox collects and processes sensitive personal and financial data of the customer (PAN, Aadhaar, bank statements, income and business details) to prepare the report. This Act regulates how such personal data must be collected, used, stored, and protected, and requires CapitalBox to obtain consent and safeguard the data against misuse.
Download Act PDF (MeitY)Copyright Act, 1957
Applies to ownership of the final report. On full payment, the delivered Project Report and financial model are licensed to the customer for the purpose of their loan application; CapitalBox retains the underlying templates, formats and working methodology used to prepare it.

12Amendments to These Terms
CapitalBox reserves the right to update or modify these terms, fees, or the scope of services at any time. Any material changes will be communicated through the website or other official channels, and continued use of the services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
